Your new company
You will be working for an award-winning civil engineering contractor based in the West Midlands. Specialising in complex civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage solutions. The contractor has successfully completed over £1bn worth of projects. Due to a strong pipeline of work and continuous growth, they are now looking to onboard a Site Manager.
Your new role
As site manager, you will be required to but not limited to liaising with clients to provide progress reports to the clients and continuous updates on the project. You will also be able to oversee all construction teams on site to ensure work is carried out efficiently and effectively in a safe manner. In order to do this, you will be able to procure materials and monitor the costs and progress associated. As site manager, you will ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the project.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have experience of working on highway projects in a management or supervisory capacity and hold relevant certifications, including CSCS, SMSTS (ideally) and First Aid. In addition, you will have sound organisational skills and proven successful experience of leading delivery teams. Finally, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
