Henrietta Hotel opened in 2017, right in the heart of bustling Covent Garden. A haven nestled away from the busy streets outside, Henrietta is comprised of 40 rooms divided into two buildings. In the summer of 2024, renowned British chef Jackson Boxer takes the helm of the restaurant, reimagining the food offering against the backdrop of a full restaurant redesign. Expect nods to their Parisian heritage and the citys famed bistros, as well as to Covent Gardens rich history. Taking inspiration from Londons continental neighbours, the menu at Henri will reflect the culinary traditions and timeless appeal of a Parisian bistro, serving Jacksons take on French classics alongside signature Experimental cocktails. Postion: Chef de Partie Full Time: 48hrs per week Hourly Rate: £15.00 (Approx £37,440.00 per annum) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with food preparation. Support the kitchen team by taking over a section. Maintain a high level of food quality and production with the aim of exceeding our guests expectations. Wrap unused items and store them in proper areas at the end of a shift. Clean and sanitize the kitchen and its areas before the restaurant closes Adhere to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards. Apply all Health & Safety and food quality regulations. Communicate with the Head Chef when maintenance/repairs are needed for the kitchen equipment. Stay up to date with culinary trends and kitchen processes. Support the Head Chef in designing and creating dishes that fit the vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant. ABOUT YOU Experience in a similar role within a comparable venue. Have a passion for Food & Beverage industry. Be well spoken with excellent communication skills. Attention to details and customer needs. Social, engaging and motivated. Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations. Knowledge as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
