L3 SOC CONSULTANT – London or Cheltenham (Hybrid). 80K  Role requires eligibility for SC clearance. Currently working with a Cyber organisation who provides expert and technical consulting services across public and private sector clients. This is a “Senior consultant” position, based in London or Cheltenham. The ideal Candidate will be passionate about Cybersecurity, possess a strong understanding of SIEM tools, and have a proven track record in incident management.  Benefits80k Base  Flexible Working Arrangement  Accelerated career progression  Excellent Benefits package  As a L3 SOC Consultant You Will Get The Opportunity To:Apply your expertise to drive improvements and lead efforts to strengthen SOC capabilitiesImplement, configure, and oversee security technologies to ensure high-performance threat detection and incident response.  Regularly review and optimize SOC processes, workflows, and technologies to enhance overall operational efficiency.  Support the development and documentation of SOC playbooks and incident response plans to facilitate a coordinated and effective response to security incidents Perform regular SOC assessments and offering specific recommendations for improvement.  Partner with clients to improve SOC operations.Offering specialized guidance on SOC tools to be used according to clients’ needs.   The Right L3 SOC Consultant Will Ideally Have:Over 5 Years experience working in SOC environments (or other related fields)  Comprehensive understanding of SOC operations, including threat detection or incident response.  Proficiency in deploying and managing Security technologies within the SOC environment including proven experience in using SIEM tools.  Certifications in Cyber security and SOC operations (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, etc.)  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members.  Ability to communicate precise security concepts and provide integral recommendations to team members and clients.  Please note visa sponsorship is not available at this time If you are interested in this role or know of someone who would be, please contact me directly at [email protected] or apply directly.   LT Harper is an equal opportunities employer, and we are firm believers that everyone has the right to feel valued and safe in their place of work.
