Site Mechanical Fitter** Location: Northwest - UK Wide 50 hours p/w (Days) Initial 3 Month Contract Rate: £25.00-£27.00p/h DOE Our client: They provide bespoke design, build, and project management solutions within process engineering, across water, and industrial food and beverage sectors. They are looking to recruit a Site Mechanical Fitter to come in and assist them with on going projects across the UK. As a Site Mechanical Fitter, you will be required to conduct the following duties: Work in accordance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMs) Liaise with subcontractors and clients Perform on-site installations and fittings of medium to heavy machinery and fabricated structures Conduct workplace risk assessments and identify hazards Follow in-house designs during project execution Understand and implement client specifications The Successful Site Mechanical Fitter will need to have the following attributes: Experience around lifting operations On site work experience working around slingers, cranes, welders etc. Own tools required Site Safety Card (CSCS/CCSNG) Welding background Experience with spanners, drilling and grinders Open to Travel Benefits of this Position: Outside IR35, suitable for Limited company contractors or Umbrella Digs and travel paid for I am looking to speak to talented Site Mechanical Fitters, who are looking for a rewarding and challenging contract position.
