Senior Nurse Assessor

Role: CHC Senior Nurse Assessor Location: Birmingham Salary: Competitive daily rate (Band 8a) Contract: Initial term 6-months Full-time A great NHS Trust in Birmingham is looking for an experienced RGN to join their growing CHC team on an temporary basis. Main Duties: Support the Locality Lead in the development of a range of services required for individuals who qualify for packages of care. Case Managing CHC individuals. Communicate information, risks, issues and dependencies, including briefings and reports. Provide professional nursing advice to acute hospital trusts, care providers and social services with regards to Continuing Healthcare. Minimum Qualifications: Registered Nurse RGN with valid NMC pin. Knowledge of NHS and social services guidance. Strong knowledge base around safeguarding children and Adults. Evidence of teaching/mentorship. Clinical knowledge base in order to ensure comprehensive holistic assessment for continuing care.
