Lead Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Our Client is looking for a Lead Mechanical Maintenance engineer to work on one of their key sites just a short walk from London bridge and Borough sations.You will be working for one of the most innovative Building services companies in the UK known for their training and progression. On offer is a salary of up to £48,000 with overtime available. Day to Day Duties Working Monday to Friday 8-5 you will be will responsible for the general building maintenance of this state of the art office facility. * AHU and FCU maintenance * Unvented hot water systems. * Pumps: replacement of pump shaft seals (to fix leaks), replacement of small pumps. * General plumbing maintenance: replace leaking/defective valves, remove dead leg pipework, install/remove TMVs, replace taps, replace tank ball float valves, replace radiator TRVs etc. * Pressurisation units: service and repair of closed system pressurisation units. * Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution) * Emergency lighting & Fire Alarm Test's * HVAC plant * Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning) * Chillers - Re-set * Pumps, Motors * Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, changing taps, seals etc * BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds) * UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings * Expansion vessels: checking and topping up air pressure, replacement of failed vessels. * Small installation works: e.g. installation of new taps, small electric water heaters, showers and associated domestic pipework. Qualifications/Requirements * Qualified In a Mechanical discipline with certificates. * Plumbing and Mechanical skills * Experience with PPM’s on commercial systems * Steady and progressive work history * Experienced in work on large scale building services applications
