Summary
The Talent Set is delighted to be working with a prestigious London based University to find a Senior Marketing Manager for their Student Recruitment function. This pivotal role will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of multichannel marketing campaigns. The Senior Marketing Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, delivering integrated marketing strategies in both national and international markets. Additionally, the postholder will oversee regular data analysis to inform and enhance the effectiveness of the campaigns

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute high-quality, insight-driven digital marketing campaigns and events to promote the University, creating annual operational plans for student recruitment activities.
  • Provide line management and coaching to the team, ensuring they receive guidance, support, and clear direction.
  • Working with the CRM and email automation system to enhance and optimise student journey.
  • Organise and execute all team activities with clear objectives, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and on time.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing and conversion initiatives, providing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement in recruitment strategies.
  • closely with marketing colleagues to ensure a cohesive student recruitment journey, overseeing the production of engaging digital assets and event marketing activities.
  • Manager Stakeholders across the University and wider network.

Person Specification
Experience & Personal Qualities

  • Significant experience in developing and delivering marketing and engagement strategies, particularly with a focus on email marketing campaigns.
  • Proven ability to work confidently with multiple stakeholders and develop high-performing marketing teams.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and email automation systems, focusing on user journeys and campaign management.
  • Experience in utilising digital and social media channels for both paid and organic audience engagement.
  • Proven ability to lead analysis and reporting on marketing activity performance from various sources.
  • Experience in creating content for websites, social media, and event platforms.
