OVERVIEW Outpost Overseas is a Scottish-based Golf Tour Operator, providing exceptional experiences for discerning clients. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Tour Operations Administrator, with a focus on payments. The ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude, be numerate and have excellent organisational skills. The role is primarily responsible for paying our suppliers and raising invoices for our clients. However, as we are a young and growing business, there will also opportunities to develop your learning of other areas of the organisation, especially in the off-season months. An interest in golf, and some bookkeeping experience is preferred, but a positive attitude, diligence, and ability to learn quickly are the most important attributes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Processing payments for suppliers using banking systems. Reconciliation of transactions in accounting systems. Producing and tracking client invoices. General bookkeeping duties. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Helping to build exceptional golf trips for our clients. Researching and writing content as we build the Outpost Overseas website. Occasionally ‘meeting and greeting’ clients. QUALITIES WE’RE LOOKING FOR Great organisational skills: You will need to be detail-oriented to ensure accurate payments to suppliers and efficient tracking of client payments. Basic bookkeeping skills or an ability to learn: Experience is beneficial, but the desire to learn is essential. Enjoyment of budgeting and working with numbers. Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and clients effectively. Proficiency in using online systems and technology: You must be tech-savvy. Flexibility and adaptability: As we are a young, fast-growing business, the role will evolve and you should be comfortable working in a changing environment. A Positive, collaborative attitude: You will be a team player and be able to work effectively with virtual teams. EMPLOYMENT DETAILS Salary : £25,000 – £29,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a discretionary bonus for meeting targets. Benefits : 8% company pension contribution, 35 days holiday including public/bank holidays. You may choose to work on public holidays (except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day) and take a different day off. Working hours : 35-hour work week, with some flexibility in when and how the hours are worked Location : Home-based, but regular travel to Edinburgh for team meetings will be required.
