Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with expertise in Altera/Allscripts to join our dynamic healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Altera/Allscripts healthcare platform and its applications, with experience in analysing, implementing, and optimizing clinical and business workflows. This role will serve as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure successful system integration, customization, and support. Key Responsibilities: Business & System Analysis : Gather and document business requirements related to clinical and operational workflows, ensuring alignment with healthcare regulations and industry standards. Analyse and map the functionality of Altera/Allscripts solutions to business needs and recommend appropriate enhancements or configurations. Perform gap analysis and assess system functionalities to meet user requirements. Project Management & Implementation : Lead and support the implementation, upgrade, and optimization of Altera/Allscripts applications, including EMR, EHR, and other healthcare solutions. Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget. Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources. Stakeholder Communication : Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, clinical users, IT teams, and software vendors to facilitate clear communication and address system-related needs or challenges. Present findings, recommendations, and system updates to leadership and end-users. Testing & Quality Assurance : Develop and execute test plans for system upgrades, patches, or new implementations. Identify and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations. Training & Support : Provide user training on Altera/Allscripts applications and related processes. Support users by resolving day-to-day system issues and offering technical guidance. Qualifications: Experience : 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role, with a focus on Altera/Allscripts solutions. Proven track record of system analysis, project management, and system optimization in a healthcare environment. Technical Skills : In-depth knowledge of Altera/Allscripts applications and modules, including system configuration and customization. Experience with SQL, data analytics, and reporting tools is a plus. Understanding of healthcare industry standards such as HL7, HIPAA, ICD-10, and CPT. Soft Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
