Accountant

The Accountant role involves managing accounts, preparing management reports, overseeing payments for supplier invoices, and coordinating approvals and bank payments. Additionally, you'll collaborate with other department heads and, after training, take responsibility for the company's IT systems. Client Details My client, based in Fareham, is a leading logisitics business operating across the south coast. They are seeking a qualified/QBE candidate with a stong background in accountancy. Description Accountant: - Oversee accounts and input data into the Sage system as needed, including preparing management accounts. - Manage supplier invoice payments, coordinate approvals with the Director, and arrange bank payments. - Supervise finance team tasks, including handling and overseeing sales invoices. - Work closely with other department heads to manage supplier invoices and payments. - Take responsibility for the company's IT systems after completing training. Profile Accountant: Previous experience in an accountancy environment (UK based) Qualified status or qualified by experience Knowlegde of logistics/fleet management industry would be beneficial Knowledge of Sage 50 would be beneficialJob Offer Salary of circa £45k Annual and Quarterly discretionary bonuses
