The Student Wellbeing and Accessible Learning Support (formerly Disability Services) is looking for a Disability Quality Assurance and Student Engagement Officer. You will support the work of the Needs Assessment Centre at Queen's in relation to enhancing accessible and inclusive learning through additional, funded support for students with disabilities / long-term conditions. You will provide an important administrative and quality assurance role to ensure high-quality support services by reviewing and providing feedback on individually-tailored reasonable adjustment reports compiled by the Needs Assessor team as part of the DSA application process, ensuring that recommendations made meet with professional standards, funder requirements and adhere to the Needs Assessment Centre's key performance indicators (KPIs). You will also be responsible for enhancing the student experience through fostering engagement with the assessment process by encouraging disabled students to access additional, funded reasonable adjustments. By overseeing and reviewing student engagement post-assessment, you will also be responsible for inspiring students to connect with any recommended one-to-one supports provided through the Register of Support Providers at Queen's. The post is part-time (25.9 hours) and will involve working both on-campus and remotely from home. About the person: The successful candidate must demonstrate that they have: Minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) to include English Language and Mathematics, A 'levels / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). Recent relevant experience and a working knowledge of DSA / similar funding bodies. Experience in a customer-focused / customer service role providing advice and guidance. Experience of using spreadsheets / databases to record, collect and analyse data and present in different formats. Experience of dealing with sensitive / personal information and managing confidential data in line with GDPR UK. Able to work flexibly to meet with Service demands. Access NI check required.
