Job Requirements / Description
Our client are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Production Planner to join their team. The Production Planner will be responsible for monitoring and optimising production processes, working closely with production teams, and driving continuous improvement in production planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on efficiency, productivity, and quality, as well as the ability to think innovatively and work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities for Production Planner
Collaborate with production teams to align resources and address scheduling conflicts Implement production planning best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy Monitor production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives Work collaboratively to optimise quality and productivity Utilise ERP and MRP systems to support production planning efforts Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on production schedules Meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities as needed Drive innovation and creative problem-solving in production planning activities Qualifications for Production Planner
Previous experience in a similar production planning role Knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices Strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively Experience with ERP and MRP systems APICS or CPIM certification is a plus Flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills Resourceful and driven with a focus on continuous improvement Attention to detail and ability to think outside the box Benefits for Production Planner
