Sous Chef- near Oakham We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the kitchen brigade in an historic hotel near Oakham. The Sous Chef will support the Head chef and Executive Head Chef with ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times in the preparation and service of food. The Person The ideal Sous Chef will have the following: Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen, ideally at a similar style property at Junior Sous or Sous chef level Confidence to deputise for the Head Chef, run a section and support more junior team members High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and task prioritisation Have a thorough understanding of health & safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen Possess a willingness to meet the high standards that are demanded from a luxury establishment As the hotel is located near Oakham, having reliable means of transport to this area is essential.
