Room Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Room Leader with experience in a nursery or preschool setting to join a well-established childcare nursery. This full-time / part-time role offers excellent benefits and salary of £30,000. As a Room Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the room, including staff performance and support. You will be responsible for: Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth through play-based learning. Observe and document each child's development, liaising with parents and colleagues about individual needs. Maintain a tidy, organised, and welcoming classroom that adheres to health and safety standards. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute curriculum activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Cultivate positive relationships with children, families, and staff to foster an inclusive community. What we are looking for: Previously worked in a similar role such as Room Leader, Third in Charge, deputy manager. Experience in a nursery or preschool setting. Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent). Familiarity with the EYFS framework and a dedication to children's holistic development. First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake training upon employment).
