With an exemplary compliance record since our inception in 2008, we now need an additional Quality Control Consultant to work within our Compliance department. This person will enjoy the benefits of liaising with our award winning team of advisers in helping them develop further. This person will benefit from the bespoke training from one of the most experienced & knowledgeable Later Life Conduct Risk Compliance Consultants in the industry, who has also sat on the Standards Board at the Equity Release Council. Your attention to detail & quality of work is especially important as you assess the suitability of advisers work & provide them with both verbal & written, detailed feedback. As a company, treating customers fairly & providing clear, transparent, whole of market, holistic advice is at the heart of everything we do. Due to the significant rise in equity release sales in 2024, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Quality Control Consultant within our compliance function, who can work on their own initiative after being provided with full training, guidance & support. You will either be an adviser who wants to consider a career in Quality Control, or an experienced Quality Control Consultant with financial services experience – who would like to join a dynamic team. Job Description: Quality Control Consultant – Compliance Home Based employed role. Using a risk-based monitoring approach, you will assess the quality of sales files, completing and issuing a quality control template to provide effective, development feedback. Coach, mentor & provide bespoke feedback to new & experienced advisers on the developmental opportunities you find. Monitor and verify the sales process, ensuring the customer has received the best outcome for their needs. Engage with newly recruited later life advisers by helping onboard them through our unique, comprehensive academy programme. Provide training on our digital factfind and product confirmation letter, plus integration of these within our whole of market advice process. Mentoring new recruits from stage 1 training through to CAS status. Monitoring trends & providing bespoke refresher training sessions to individual or groups of advisers About you We are looking for someone who has a strong eye for detail, who wants to be part of a successful team, with a strong work ethic & a strong determination to succeed. Ideally you will have experience in providing coaching and feedback in developing the file assessment process for the benefit of the adviser and customer experience. Have you a strong attention to detail? Are you an experienced financial services professional? Have you completed regulated file assessments? Do you have financial service experience – either management, adviser, compliance or training? Have you experience of providing coaching/feedback to regulated advisers?
