Responsibilities and Duties: • Installation, Site Management and Maintenance of Audio-Visual equipment. • Commission and quality assure audio-visual installations to an excellent standard. • Site visits as required. • Provide accurate site survey reports for projects. • Be responsible for installation quality and the maintenance and operation of the equipment at Contract Client Sites. • Deal with customer enquiries & issues on behalf of the Client Relationship Management team and Project and Operations Management team. • Be responsible for the onsite project document control of all the AV inventory; report all equipment malfunctions and inaccuracies, including asset management. • Manage product quality control. • Manage Client system issues. • Work through projects on the internal management system and complete tasks. • Communicate with the client and internally all aspects of the project. • As the Lead Engineer you will help manage Sub-Contractors. • Accurately process fault resolution & work completion. • Be an AV Health and Safety ambassador and follow all procedures at base and client sites/venues. • Any other duties as requested by the Client Relationship Team and Project & Operations Managers. • Sharing best practice and lead training for the wider team Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: To apply, you must have: * A positive attitude, a ‘can-do’, ‘team first’ approach to your work. * Skills and experience that make you proficient in tasks set out above. * An understanding of the end-to-end complexities of an audio-visual and video installation project. * A proven track record in field-based audio-visual engineering tasks, maintenance, and operation. * IT Network knowledge: an understanding of AV systems’ integration with existing IT systems is essential. * Full UK working rights. * You would ideally have: * Worked as an AV engineer with corporate/commercial clients and in multi-disciplined project teams. * The ability and presence to liaise with clients at senior level, external consultants, third parties such as main contractors, distributors and manufacturers and project consultants. * An above average level of understanding of audio, audio signal flow. * A selection of current, relevant industry manufacturer accreditations. * The ability to program/configure systems, (basic programming) * A full driver’s license. * Valid CSCS or ECS, relevant health & safety accreditations
