A leading company in the Life Science, PET/Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Safety sectors is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join their dynamic team in Sheffield. Production Engineer job Responsibilities: - Build and test various instruments, including Radio TLC scanners and Radio HPLC detectors. - Conduct visual inspections of PCBs, with the ability to fault-find down to component level. - Improve internal test procedures and update QA documentation. - Provide technical support to the service department. - Support the R&D department in product development. - Collect and deliver parts from local and national suppliers using company vehicles. Production Engineer job Essential Experience and Qualifications: - Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work. - Full UK Driving License. - Level 3 qualification in Electronics & Electrical Engineering or equivalent. - Confident in soldering surface mount components down to 0402 size. - Experience with ISO 9001 standards. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. - Experienced in electronics manufacturing and testing. Desirable: - IPC-A-610 training.
