Teaching Assistant SEN

SEN TA - Preston: Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN on a 1-1 basis at a school near Preston. The successful candidate should have previous experience supporting pupils with SEN and be confident in supporting on a 1-1 basis and in small groups. This role is not strictly classroom based so you must be confident supporting both inside and outside the classroom. Responsibilites: Supporting children to learn, develop and grow Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and managing behaviour Preparing the learning environmentContract Details: Location: Preston Position: SEN TA Hours: 8:30am-3:45pm Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day depending on experience Type of work: Temporary Full time/part time: Full time only Start date: ASAP End date: Ongoing Experience, Training & Qualifications: Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desirable but training can be provided) Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN Team Teach qualification would be highly desired Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirableTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold right to work in the UK Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
