Golang Engineer Fast Growing Start-up focusing on Revolutionising Global Cross Border Payments in Africa! A fast-growing fintech company is tackling the massive challenges African businesses face with cross-border payments, building a platform for ultra-low-cost, near-instant money transfers at higher transaction sizes. They're looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join their distributed team and help drive product development as they scale across Africa and beyond. What You’ll Do: Build products and features from scratch, owning everything from requirements to deployment. Collaborate closely with founders and the team, pushing the product forward in a fast-paced environment. Help shape the engineering team, roadmap, and company culture as they expand. What You’ll Bring: 4+ years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in compiled and interpreted languages, relational/non-relational databases, and microservices architecture. Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), CI/CD workflows, and serverless architectures. Customer-first mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving skills. Bonus: Experience in fintech, trading systems, ledgers, or security/compliance.
