The postholder will be an active member of the research team assisting in the development and pre-clinical and industrial translation of novel microarray patch delivery systems. To assist in the planning and delivery of this research activity so that the overall research objectives of the project are met. This post is fixed term maternity cover available from 2 January 2025 to 31 May 2025. About the person The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria: Applicants must have a degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a closely-related discipline (Minimum standard 2.1) Have, or about to obtain, a PhD in drug delivery/pharmaceutics. Applicants must have experience of design and manufacture polymeric microneedles and at least 3 years recent relevant research experience to include, recent, relevant, experience in pharmaceutical analysis, including HPLC Knowledge of mass spectrometric detection as used in combination with HPLC Experience of formulation science is also essential To be successful at shortlisting stage, please ensure you clearly evidence in your application how you meet the essential and, where applicable, desirable criteria listed in the Candidate Information.
