Role Description The Data Scientist will work on leveraging healthcare data to drive insights that improve diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes. You will apply machine learning models, statistical analysis, and data visualisation techniques to uncover trends and patterns in clinical and operational data. This role will directly impact the quality of care provided by enhancing the decision-making process. Key Responsibilities Design and develop predictive models to analyse healthcare data, including patient records, laboratory results, and imaging data. Implement machine learning algorithms to support personalised diagnostics and treatment recommendations. Collaborate with clinicians and engineers to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. Create dashboards and visualisation tools to communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data models and analysis, following industry best practices. Technical Skills Required Proficiency in Python, R, and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience working with healthcare data (e.g., EHRs, diagnostic data) and familiarity with formats like HL7 or FHIR. Strong background in statistical analysis and data mining. Knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience in natural language processing (NLP) and working with unstructured data is a plus. Soft Skills Required Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills. Adaptability to evolving project requirements in a healthcare setting.
