Electrical Engineer - West Midlands

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: West Midlands Salary: £50k - £80k DOE Our client seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage installation projects across various industries. You will meet with clients to assess requirements, define solutions, and oversee project delivery while maintaining budgets. You will also provide commercial, technical, and project management support as required. Responsibilities: Engage with both new and existing clients to explore opportunities and assess their specific requirements Collaborate with clients to develop and define tailored engineering solutions Deliver prompt and accurate quotes/tender responses to client inquiries, including a draft MS project plan when necessary Supervise project teams, ensuring budget management and maintaining regular communication with clients regarding progress, pricing variations, and other updates Provide support across commercial, technical documentation, and project management functions Requirements: HNC/D in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience-based qualification 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) UK Driving Licence Minimum of 5 years' experience in Aggregates, Cement, Mining, Rail, Water, or materials processing industries Familiarity with Amtech/Trimble software, AutoCAD, PLC & SCADA systems is desirable Place of Work: Home office, project sites, and occasional office Benefits: Salary: £50k - £80k DOE Pension with good holiday entitlement Nissan Navara dual-cab pickup or equivalent Business miles fuel card x4 Salary Personal Accident Insurance 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Laptop and/or tablet PC, mobile phone
