The Opportunity Our client continues to deliver exciting and significant projects across their UK Teams, their goal is to allow their engineers to focus on what they do best – delivering exceptional design solutions for their clients.
To support this, they are currently seeking an experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Stockton On Tees. You will lead functional input to your own projects, including where relevant leading the input of other engineers, to ensure engineering delivery meets scope, time, cost and quality.
You will ensure that your own work and that of more junior engineers on a project complies with all necessary corporate, departmental and legislative requirements and procedures, to guarantee that the necessary consistency and quality of delivery is maintained.
Contract Estimated Duration – 12 months
This role has been deemed inside of IR35
Location

You will specify and procure equipment to meet requirements.
Proactively generate value adding options within projects to offer to clients.
Plan and prioritise own work and that of more junior staff so that deadlines are met.
Recognise and address potential and actual cross-discipline issues and conflicts so that overall engineering input to a project is coherent.You will have the following qualifications and experience
MEng / BEng in Mechanical Engineering
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (Preferred)
You must be able to obtain BPSS Security before your start date.Get in touch now
