Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers to work from Bedford for our client who is one of the leading logistics companies delivering alcohol to various pubs and restaurants.

Before you apply for this role, you must be able to answer YES to all the questions below:

1. Do you have your Class 2 Driving Licence?
2. Do you have an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card?
3. Do you have an up-to-date DCPC Card?
4. Do you have 2 years of Class 2 driving experience?

We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

HGV Class 2 Driver - Role & Responsibilities:
As we have mentioned above, our client is a leading logistics supplier to Restaurants across the world. This means that as an HGV Class 2 Driver for this client, you will be responsible for:

• Driving a fully branded HGV vehicle
• Delivering alcohol to pubs & restaurants
• Required to keep up to date with the required pre & post-shift vehicle checks
• Excepted to maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations

HGV Class 2 Driver - Working Hours:

• Shift start times between
  • 06:00 - 07:00
  • 9 - 11 hour days
• 7-day operation
  • Monday to Friday rota
