Key responsibilities as a Generator Engineer:
- Workshop-based, servicing and repairing generators ranging from 10KVA to 100KVA
- Conduct testing, and inspections, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
- Assist with fit-out works for modular buildings, which may include basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks
- Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety at all times
As a Generator Engineer, you will:
- Have a solid understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems related to generators or heavy plant machinery
- Hold an NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical or electrical qualification (or equivalent)
- Hold a full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points)
Previous roles you may have worked in include:
Generator Engineer, Engineer, Mechanic, Diesel Engineer, Diesel Mechanic, Generator Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Power Generation Engineer, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, or Service Technician.
It s beneficial if you ve worked on generators such as FG Wilson, SDMO, Stephill, Cummins, Generac, CAT, Atlas Copco, Briggs, Perkins, or Himoinsa.
