TWX have partnered with a Cybersecurity technology and service provider headquartered in Cirencester. They are looking to add a 2nd Line Engineer to their expanding team, to support the company’s Core to Cloud Tech Assist service and internal IT operations. This role is essential in managing and optimising cybersecurity tools for customers, while also providing 2nd line IT support to internal staff.

In-depth training on our products WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY?
Deliver Tech Assist services, managing and optimising cybersecurity tools for customers, ensuring smooth operation and continuous monitoring.
Provide 2nd line support to internal staff, handling troubleshooting and escalating technical issues when necessary.
Deploy and manage devices using Microsoft Intune, ensuring seamless functionality and operation of internal systems.
Assist customers with IoT solutions, particularly in medical and manufacturing sectors, ensuring security and optimal connectivity.
Network troubleshooting, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and other core networking protocols, across various environments, supporting both IoT devices and internal infrastructure. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS
Networking expertise: Solid understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnet masks, routing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
Cybersecurity knowledge: understanding of cyber risks, Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), and emerging threats.
Microsoft Intune: Experience with MS products
IoT environments: Experience supporting IoT environments, ideally within medical or manufacturing sectors.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, particularly in networking and cybersecurity.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and internal teams. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a 2nd line support role, preferably in cybersecurity or IT operations.
Hands-on experience with networking, device management, and troubleshooting.
Experience working with IoT technologies is highly desirable.
Solid grasp of cybersecurity threats and solutions to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
