Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant: Providing individual support in classroom activities, ensuring a positive start to the school day. Assisting with sensory activities and autism-specific techniques that promote learning and calmness. Helping the child to develop foundational social and communication skills, focusing on interaction and play. Working alongside the teacher to adapt lessons and create a nurturing, inclusive environment.
