About the Role: This opportunity has arisen due to a shortage of P6 planners with the expertise to review and manage complex project programmes within the client team. The successful candidate will provide essential planning support to both internal engineering teams and external delivery partners, ensuring the seamless production and management of project schedules and cost plans. Key Responsibilities: Provide guidance to internal engineering delivery teams and external delivery partners (EDPs) on the development and maintenance of project programmes using Primavera P6. Review, approve, and ensure the accuracy of project programmes and aligned cost plans, managing change control processes for both schedules and costs. Integrate multiple project programmes for consolidated reporting purposes. Communicate key milestones, risks, and critical information from integrated programmes to stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective collaboration. Track project progress, raise potential issues, and liaise with clients to ensure project objectives are met. Occasional office attendance for team meetings and project reviews. Candidate Requirements: Proven experience as a P6 Planner, ideally within a high-profile infrastructure environment. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MSP. Strong understanding of project management principles, including schedule management, change control, and cost planning. Ability to liaise effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams, offering insight and advice on project progress and potential risks. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to review and approve complex programmes. Experience integrating programmes for reporting purposes and communicating key information to project stakeholders. APM PQ qualification is advantageous but not essential. Why Join Us?
