Job Requirements / Description
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a team that is responsible for all planned, reactive maintenance and continuous improvement on all TGW and third party automation onsite.
This will be on a weekly rotating shift pattern of Early, Lates and Night shifts.
Main Responsibilities
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification
* Reactive and preventative maintenance of TGW and third party products installed on site
* Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency ensuring that the customers’ orders are not missed
* Attend customer meetings providing any updates on the automation
* Suggest any continuous improvement activities that will increase the reliability of TGW and third party assets on site
* Actively seek root cause when remedying any breakdowns on TGW supplied equipment and software
* Co-ordinate planned preventive maintenance activities with the customer
* Mentor, train and advise at all levels on engineering practices
* Comply to all current, future health and safety legislation at all times
About You
* Minimum NVQ level 3/BTEC ONC/HNC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
* Previous Experience of working in an operational engineering role with automation equipment
* Proficient communication skills and customer focused
* Ability to work in a time critical environment
* Demonstrated ability for solving problems
* Preferred experience of working with Warehouse Management Systems
