Comanos is working with a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, focusing on sourcing, investing in, and managing utility-scale energy assets worldwide. With a global portfolio in wind farms, solar power plants, BESS and hydrogen, their success in the renewable energy market has positioned them as a leading investor in onshore and offshore wind and solar energy market across Europe and beyond. Day to day responsibilities: Manage the global renewable energy development portfolio to ensure projects exceed investment goals. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, developers, and funds and lead commercial partnerships with multiple development entities across Europe, the US, and Asia. Inspire and support the development portfolio management team, promoting empowerment and continuous improvement. Collaborate with fund managers to achieve objectives oversee reporting on fund performance and investment KPIs, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Identify and mitigate risks to enhance portfolio resilience while monitoring financial performance to ensure effective capital allocation and alignment with investment goals. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. Significant senior leadership and strategic management experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong record in investment portfolio management. Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and governance practices both in the UK and globally. Proficient in financial modeling, project management, and data analysis. Personal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of global energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and the intricacies of renewable energy project development.
