Job Opportunity: Early Years Support Assistant (Nursery Assistant)
Are you a passionate Nursery Support Assistant looking for a fulfilling role in Wolverhampton? We are seeking dedicated individuals to help implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at a local nursery. * Experience in a UK Nursery Assistant role or similar position, particularly with one-to-one support.
* A valid DBS check on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain one.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare in an educational setting.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the lead educator in effectively delivering the EYFS curriculum.
* Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
* Provide tailored support to an EYFS pupil (in reception year) who may struggle with peer interactions, offering in-class and one-on-one assistance.
* Engage in planning and delivering enjoyable educational activities.
* Collaborate with a team of professionals to support positive outcomes for every child.
Location: This role is based in Wolverhampton, allowing you to contribute to the local community by supporting young learners in their educational journey.
