Income Auditor

Income Auditor We are recruiting for an Income Auditor to join our Finance Department at Dorsett Shepherds Bush London and daO West London our aparthotel. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your career within the hospitality industry. As the Income Auditor, you will work closely with thefront office and food and beverage, dealing with the daily review within rooms and food & beverage outlets. You will be a good communicator, with sound organisational skills and a team player who can multitask and support the team. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar establishment as an Income Auditor. You must have astrong eye for detail and benumber-driven with excellent command of English written and verbal and must know Opera PMS and must be studying or be qualified. Brief Requirement You will be responsible for the hotels daily sales and ensuring they are accurate in the Opera PMS system Upload daily revenue into the Flex accounting software, ensuring all revenues are captured and in balance Prepare and distribute the daily revenue report promptly Review discounts and allowances and ensure they are properly authorized in line with the company policies and procedures Reconcile all card transactions, correct where necessary Ensure month-end closing and the trial balance are correct with the general ledger You be responsible for responding to any customer queries regarding the transactions Calculate and analyse the Travel Agents commissions monthly Carry out any other accounting work assigned by the Finance Manager Work closely with Front Office and Food & Beverage to ensure postings are accurate and any discrepancies are resolved on time You must be up to date with the income audit policy and procedures Knowledge and experience of accounting procedures Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with all levels of the business Effective organisational skills; able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a workload Friendly, approachable, and professional In return, you will receive: 28 Days Holidays Meals on Duty Associate discounted rates with our hotels Training and Development Opportunities Auto Enrolment Pension Dry Cleaning Free Eye test for VDU users Free Dry Cleaning Service Charge Social Events Join our passionate ESG committee to promote sustainability A bit about us Dorsett Shepherds Bush is a listed building with 317 rooms, and 3 meeting rooms.
