Job Title: Technical Engineering Operator
Location: Bradford
Shift Pattern: 12-Hour Panama Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)
Salary: Up to £53,000

To support their continued expansion, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the appointment of a skilled Technical Engineering Operator. Key Responsibilities of a Technical Engineering Operator:
- Operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Conduct mechanical fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of automated equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to keep the production line running efficiently.
- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Requirements of a Technical Engineering Operator:
- Completed a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Qualified to Level 3 or above in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Previous experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical skills, with the ability to work on automated systems and machinery.
- Proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
