Job Title: Junior Mechanical Project Manager Location: London Salary: £60K - £65K + Package The Role: As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee mechanical projects with values ranging up to £2.5 million. Key responsibilities include: * Managing and coordinating all aspects of mechanical installations, including LTHW, CHW, pipe fitting, ventilation, ductwork, and sanitary fixtures. * Conducting site assessments and working directly with clients to ensure project specifications are achieved. * Ensuring project progress aligns with budget, quality, and safety standards. * Supervising subcontractors, scheduling work, and coordinating multiple mechanical trades on-site. * Monitoring and reporting on project progress to senior management. * Preparing and submitting necessary documentation, including RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and technical submittals. * Leading regular site health and safety meetings and toolbox talks. * Managing project finances, procurement, and material orders. * Ensuring quality control throughout project execution. * Attending client progression meetings and completing site documentation at project close. The Ideal Candidate: You will be an experienced project manager or site supervisor with a mechanical background, capable of handling commercial projects and overseeing multiple on-site activities. Additional requirements: * Experience in mechanical project management within the building services industry. * Strong supervisory skills, with a current CSCS card (ideally at supervisor level) and SMSTS/SSSTS certification. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Excellent organizational and communication abilities. * A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
