SEND Teacher / Special Needs Teacher in South Birmingham.
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you a dedicated and supportive Teacher? Do you have a good understanding of the national curriculum? Are you able to deliver engaging lessons to secondary age students with autism, severe learning difficulties and complex needs?
A Teacher is required for short term supply cover in an outstanding SEND school in South Birmingham for an immediate start.
The role will be delivering an engaging curriculum and requires a versatile Teacher who is creative and caring in their approach. The school has a team of dedicated teaching assistants who provide fantastic support to the children.
The students are vulnerable and need that little bit extra support to develop socially as well as academically. The successful Teacher will have excellent communication skills and be able to use basic MAKATON and PECS.

The ideal Teacher will have:
UK QTS with SEND experience.
The ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons.
A positive approach to teaching.
The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils.
Fantastic classroom management.
