Avionics Technician

Job Title: Avionics Technician Salary: £56,238 per annum dependent upon experience + bonus Location: Birmingham Aeropeople have partnered with a rapidly expanding MRO who have been given a new fleet of military aircraft currently undergoing conversion. They are currently looking for Avionics Technicians to be based at their site in Birmingham. Their services include aircraft repairs, modifications, and regulatory certifications. They have 4 aircraft hangars, 2 interior modification facilities and more than 40 line maintenance stations across the world. These facilities fuel the company’s drive to seamlessly blend a growing portfolio of MRO services to deliver all-encompassing aircraft maintenance, engineering and modification solutions to the global aviation industry. This is a very exciting time to join them as they have numerous positions available within the current team of 100 highly skilled engineers who are looking after the 3 aircraft fleet. You will work on a 5/5/4 shift pattern, carrying out a mixture of early and late shifts. Main Responsibilities: * Complete removal and strip out of all avionics equipment. * Installation of complex wiring harnesses and modifications to existing wiring, within Avionic shelves and panels. * All aspects of electrical and avionics work. * Wiring terminations and testing. * Removal and installation of various shelves, panels, and equipment. * Loom Manufacture and testing. * Systems testing Benefits: * Basic salary of £56,238 dependent upon experience * Annual Flexibility Bonus of £2,500 * Company pension scheme * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Death in Service benefit * Free Onsite parking * Length of Service Awards starting at 2 years with cash rewards * Company Sick Pay About You: * Previous modification experience. * Excellent hand skills. * Reliability. * Adaptability. * Good interpersonal skills. * Organisational skills. * Communication skills. * Knowledge of MS Office applications.
