Key Essentials
As Operations Director you will be responsible for overseeing a senior operations team across the South East
Ultimate responsibility for ensuring the overall programming of works, ensuring that the client is kept updated and that all required resource is available and in-place
Ensure that the company is adhering to and is compliant with SHEQ guidelines
Working closely and providing operational support to the commercial team, working under NEC3 form of contract
Acting as a key point of contact to clients, overseeing a heat map of issues and resolving
Understanding contract(s) scope and any potential new opportunities
Management and delegation with staff and contractors across all departments
Performance management and process improvement to ensure efficient project operations
Management and reporting on internal KPI's
Ensure that systems are being used compliantly with correct processes carried out
Overview of delivery risk management, ensuring that this is adequately covered with any opportunities maximised
Demonstrating performance and identifying improvements
Requirements
Previous experience operating at a senior level on high profile utility works for a tier one company with values in excess of £50M per annum is essential
Excellent commercial, programme and performance management skills
Good communication and organisational skills with the ability to delegate at all levels across various departments
