Step into an Exciting Role in Health & Safety Training!
Are you passionate about making workplaces safer and more efficient? We're looking for a dynamic H&S Trainer and Advisor to join our growing Health & Safety team! If you thrive on taking the lead in delivering impactful training and love the variety of working across different disciplines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is the role for you!
In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring our teams stay at the top of their game when it comes to critical safety knowledge. You'll have the chance to engage with a wide range of staff, deliver hands-on training, and play an integral part in shaping the safety culture of the organization.
What You'll Do:
Lead and deliver essential, high-impact H&S training programs across a range of disciplines, including Manual Handling, Crane Training, Forklift Truck, and more.
Collaborate closely with the H&S Administrator to ensure all staff receive the necessary training to stay safe, efficient, and compliant in their roles.
Identify training needs, working alongside managers to make sure no safety issue goes unnoticed or unaddressed.
Play a key role in the preparation of monthly reports and contribute to high-level safety discussions and meetings.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records and support post-accident investigations with tailored safety training.
Provide expert support and advice to managers and supervisors on all things H&S training.
And that's just the start! You'll also have the opportunity to take on ad-hoc projects that enhance our overall safety performance.
What You Bring:
Industry-recognised qualifications in relevant H&S training disciplines.
A strong, in-depth understanding of H&S legislation.
Holding or working towards a nationally recognised H&S qualification.
Proven ability to organise, plan, and juggle multiple training sessions with energy and enthusiasm.
Cool under pressure, with the ability to work effectively alongside a variety of supervisory staff.
Confident in developing and delivering engaging H&S training content.
Great communication skills, especially when it comes to writing clear and concise reports.
Desirable:
Flexibility to work different shift patterns depending on training needs.
Why Join Us?
By joining our team, you'll be part of a forward-thinking, safety-first environment that values the well-being of every employee. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on how safety is understood and practiced across our organisation, all while growing your own career in the process.
