We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a prominent Construction Consultancy, renowned for delivering exceptional Cost and Project Management services across various sectors, particularly within the water and wastewater industry.
As a part of the Infrastructure Division, you will contribute to a newly secured framework with a major utilities company, focusing on Quantity Surveying services for the AMP 8 Water Better Rivers Programme in the North West.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Quantity Surveying services for post-contract projects, from contract award through to final account.
* Administer contracts in line with project requirements, including communication responses, payments, compensation events, and programme submissions.
* Ensure effective budget and cost management, proactively offering solutions to maintain project success.
* Provide accurate and consistent commercial reporting.
* Manage project risks, ensuring mitigation plans are in place and actively managed.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Contribute to internal business development efforts.
Essential Qualifications:
* Ability to work from the Warrington office up to three days per week, with two days working from home. Ideal candidates will live locally or have the ability to commute easily.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience with NEC3 or NEC4 ECC main Option A, C, or E for project delivery, management, and administration.
* Demonstrable experience in managing post-contract projects.
* Excellent risk management skills, ensuring proactive mitigation and smooth project delivery.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience in water or wastewater sector projects.
* NEC3 or NEC4 Project Manager accreditation.
* MRICS (Chartered Surveyor) or currently working towards APC.
* Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., CEMAR).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
