Are you a technical writer and communicator with a strong interest in data and privacy? The Technical Writer will work alongside product, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure every user of the InfoSum platform has a positive and efficient experience - across all technical abilities. This role will be responsible for documenting how to leverage the InfoSum platform and they will be a key stakeholder to proactively improve the user experience through a deep understanding of the workflows, use cases, and mindset of the user.

As a technical writer, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining comprehensive internal and client-facing documentation that enhances the user experience of our complex platform. This includes our support portal (Zendesk), API documentation (Github), technical diagrams, internal wiki (Confluence), troubleshooting content, and short how-to videos (no editing experience required).
You will sit within the product organization and work closely with cross-functional teams—including UX, engineering, product management, product marketing, support, and client services—to gather and articulate technical information clearly and accurately as a trusted product expert. This role requires an independent contributor who thrives in a cross-functional collaborative environment and can translate complex information into clear, concise, and well-organized content. Create, update, and manage the platform support portal including all technical documentation, user-friendly support articles, how-to videos, and in-platform communication.
Ensure all content is accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with company standards.
UX Partnership:
Work closely with the UX team to ensure documentation aligns with user interface designs and enhances overall user experience end to end.
Record short platform demo/how-to videos to illustrate key or complex platform processes with the support of UX, client services, and marketing.
Content Strategy:
Proven experience as a technical writer in a complex technical environment and ideally familiar with SaaS products within the advertising and marketing industry that deal with consumer data, data science, analytics, cloud-based services, & media integrations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of information architecture and content management.
Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively
Experience working closely with UX/UI teams.
