HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver Location – Bristol Area Salary - £17.00 per hour Shift pattern/days worked – Monday - Friday. We're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers for regular work on an ongoing Monday to Friday basis, completing day shifts. Key tasks: * Delivering items to customers and collections * Days 07.30 start times * Experience required/Personal attributes. Duties: - Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload palletised goods using appropriate equipment either a electric or manual pump truck - Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries Requirements: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) 2 years minimum experience - Clean driving record with no major violations - Proven experience as a truck driver with multi drop experience of palletised goods - Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Strong communication and customer service skills You will need to complete a 2 hour induction and assessment before starting.
