Looking for innovative ideas Sourcing new qualities plains/semi-plains/jacquards/print bases Client Details A great opportunity for an Product Developer- Home Textiles to join a market leading textile business in the Greater Manchester office. They design and produce textiles for the Bedroom, living room etc. They have a great reputation in the industry with a number of long service employees. They take Sustainability very seriously and are members of Better Cotton they have also removing single use plastic from the supply chain Description Market Analysis / Good understanding of market Feeding back strategies to factory (seasonal, promo) Working with factories & design on new product ideas Setting up factory calls and tours Benchmarking Collating all cost information (prices, MOQ's, lead-times) Working with factories and Category Assistant on product development Cross costing Helping/supporting with factory issuesProfile Good understanding and aware what is happening in the market place & competitors - more training on competitors. Need to be able to pull together PowerPoints Building relationships with factories Good eye for product & design Good understanding of pricing/costings Understanding technical aspects of product development - working with QA and gaining more technical knowledge. Need to have spreadsheet ability.
