Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Nottingham Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights) Salary: £48,000 About Us: My client are a leading food manufacturer, renowned for delivering high-quality products across the food industry. With a focus on innovation, safety, and sustainability, they are expanding their team and are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join them at their Nottingham facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of their manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: * Conducting routine and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment * Diagnosing faults and performing repairs in a timely manner to minimise downtime * Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure machinery operates at optimum levels * Collaborating with the production team to improve processes and equipment efficiency * Adhering to health and safety standards, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently * Maintaining accurate records of work completed and any necessary follow-up actions Qualifications & Experience: * Relevant engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) * Proven experience in maintenance engineering within Manufacturing * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems * Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team * Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, covering both days and nights
