We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team, providing valuable support to schools across the Selby area. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students across a range of year groups. Working closely with classroom teachers and other support staff, you'll help create a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all pupils have the opportunity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Support: Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons, supporting students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and understanding. Individualized Support: Provide tailored support to students with additional needs, ensuring they can fully participate and progress in their studies. Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting good behaviour and engagement among students. Resource Preparation: Assist with the preparation and organization of learning materials to support lesson delivery. Adaptability: Be willing to support in various year groups and subjects, adjusting to the unique needs of each class.Qualifications and Skills:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Adaptable and reliable, with the flexibility to work in different schools and adapt to varying classroom environments. Knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to student welfare.Benefits:
