Procurement Manager (Manufacturing) – Site Based – Melton Mowbray - £55,000 - Reporting to: Finance Director Ready to lead the procurement revolution in Melton Mowbray? We're looking for you! Own procurement processes, rock supplier relationships, and redefine excellence. Make a real difference to an established manufacturing business: You'll be the architect of change, reshaping the procurement processes and elevating supplier relationships to new heights. Your mission is to orchestrate end-to-end procurement, drive continuous improvement, manage the purchasing team, and build collaborative bridges across the business landscape. From resolving supplier concerns to crafting insightful metrics, your impact will be felt throughout the procurement ecosystem. Key Tasks: Manage purchasing team of 4. Negotiate and manage epic supplier relationships. Drive continuous improvement in supplier management. Build positive relationships across the business. Resolve supplier grievances and disputes. Create and report on purchasing metrics. Person Specification: Previous experience in a Management role – if that’s within manufacturing then consider yourself moved to the front of the line! Sound knowledge of supply chain processes. Proficient in MS Office (Excel Especially) and Google apps. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong communication and presentation skills.
