EHS Advisor Stockton (site based position) Initial 12 month contract - possibility of being extended Working Hours - 9:30-14:30 must be covered but hours either side are negotiable in terms of start / finish times. 37 hours per week. Do you have over 5 years of EHS experience? Is your experience within the engineering industry? Have you obtained NEBOSH? If the answer is yes to the above, this could be a great role for you! Key Accountabilities of the EHS Advisor Point of contact for all EHS queries Undertaking EHS activities as driven by the EHS Supervisor and Manager Undertake EHS Inspections Supporting Plant Engineering with Contractor Management, checking of RAMS, permits and authorisations to work Prepares facility EHS Metrics Participates in cross functional meetings representing EHS Investigates and establishes standards for protective equipment Host any government visits (HSE) in association with senior leaders Operate to support our learning environment with learning teams Provide investigation support driving deep RCCA and the ability to identify systemic process failure for process improvement Required Skills and Experience of the EHS Advisor Nebosh Cert or equivalent plus 5 years industry experience is required Strong communication skills are necessary.  The ability to manage a high pressure workload in a risk priority order and accept, the work is relentless.
