Job description DATE POSTED: 11/10/2024 LOCATION: Bootle, Liverpool JOB TITLE: Class 1 HGV NIGHT Driver TYPE: Containers ( SHIFT: Nights Monday - Friday PAY: £17.40 ( Includes holiday pay) Class 1 HGV driver Rapid Time Recruit Limited acting as an Employment Business is currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV night drivers on behalf of our client in Liverpool, this is on a 12 week temp - perm basis. Role of a Class 1 HGV Night Driver: * Average Start 16:00 - 19:00 NIGHTS * Average 8–11 hour shifts * Container collections, deliveries, set-ups, Seaforth Docks * Min 2 year Class 1 entitlement * Min 8 monhts container experience ( all size's 20s - 40s ) * Immediate Inductions available ready for new contract start. Class 1 HGV drivers will be required to complete a paid driving assessment and induction prior to commencing work. Class 1 HGV night drivers will require: * Valid UK HGV C+E licence for 2 years or more. * Minimum 12-month previous class 1 driving experience. * Previous container experience. * Digital tachograph card CPC card. * Be professional and presentable at all times. * Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances. * Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license. * No IN10, DR10, DG10, CD10 or TT99 PAY rates are: * £17.40 NIGHTS - Monday - Friday * MIN 8 hours paid per shift. * Rates include holiday pay Benefits of working with Rapid Time Recruit as a HGV Class 1 Drivers: * Weekly Pay – Every Friday * 28 days accrued annual leave per annum ( unless rolled up option applied) * Online payslips * Recommend a friend bonuses * A friendly and supportive team Once perm * Guaranteed 55 hours per week @ £13.86 = £762.30 **** PLUS **** * Overtime rate £15.97 * Weekly driving bonus @ £60 * Weekly meal allowance @ £25 * £12 per box after 10th weekly box See what our drivers say about us via our google page: (url removed)e/r/CSfB0RSRSz3iEB0/review
