WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR We’re on the lookout for an exceptional and well-rounded Finance Manager with a breadth of experience in a fast scaling SAAS business environment. You’ll be driven, self-motivated, and you’ll own all day to day operational financial responsibilities. We’re looking for someone who is eager to embrace the variety this role can offer. You will help introduce best practice financial management and solutions across the business. As well as being an adaptable person who welcomes and manages change, you will act as a mentor to the Finance team, and be the go-to person for the CFO. WHAT YOU’LL DO Ownership of day to day financial operations Manage a part-time Credit Controller and a part-time Accounts Assistant Preparation of all month end schedules including accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue. Manage an international sales ledger and credit control function for >2000 accounts Manage the purchase ledger, including weekly supplier payment runs Manage multi-currency current accounts, instant access savings accounts and fixed term savings accounts Run Project Backlog and MRR forecast meetings with Operations / Sales VAT return / All HMRC related queries EMI options scheme management and reporting Assist with Forecast and Budget cycle Present department results to the weekly leadership meeting Support the CFO with Board presentations Financial Analysis, ad hoc reporting WHAT YOU’LL BRING 3 years’ post-qualified experience (CIMA, ACCA etc) Prior experience working in a high growth SAAS company Experience assisting/creating Finance reports Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills Experience using CRM system (Monday.com would be useful but not essential) Analytical/reporting skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to converse in a structured and effective way. Ability to learn and understand new applications quickly Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance Experience and character to anticipate, understand, investigate and resolve accounts and team issues as they arise Outstanding attention to detail Experience using Xero useful but not essential WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU Annual salary of £60-70k depending on experience 25 days holiday your birthday off bank holidays HMRC approved equity scheme Flexible working hours (40 hours a week) including minimum 4 days a month in the office Enhanced Employer Pension contributions Agreed personal development and training plan An excellent Chancery Lane, London office location
