BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - £50k base, up to £80k Year 1 OTE, uncapped commissions SUPER OPPORTUNITY Full Cycle Sales Role: UK-based targeting North American market NOTE: This is a full-time UK-based role, primarily working 1.00pm to 9.00pm GMT, Monday to Friday inclusive - hours may vary depending on work requirements. Location : This is primarily a remote role (during initial two-week onboarding and training period attendance at the office for 3 days per week). Job Purpose: Working alongside our Head of Sales, North America, and reporting into our UK-based Sales Manager, this role is perfect for those with several years’ SaaS software sales experience, or those with sales experience and currently working in procurement and/or procurement consulting, looking for your next exciting challenge to help contribute to our rapid growth in this market. This role is critical to expanding our presence and market share in North America and you will be directly responsible for influencing this. We are in an exciting period of sustained growth and now is the time and opportunity for the right individual to capitalise on this. The main objective of the role is to generate revenues by winning new clients and building strong foundations with existing clients to secure renewals and growth. The role is evenly split between hunting (new business) and farming (relationship management), with many opportunities coming inbound via our Marketing channels. You'll get to work with some of the best-known brands in North America, helping their Procurement teams make a big difference in an increasingly turbulent time. Market Dojo's solutions are more relevant and in demand than ever, especially as we've recently become part of a global tech firm, Esker, with renewed investment to expand in all directions. Main responsibilities include: ● Qualify and follow up inbound leads in a timely manner ● Use a consultative sales approach to match prospective client needs with solutions ● Conduct discovery calls, presentations, demonstrations, and negotiation calls ● Close new software sales across all of our distinct SaaS modules ● Account management of existing clients to secure renewals and develop growth business ● Deliver product training to new and existing accounts ● Use your networking and referral skills to generate additional qualified leads for yourself ● Log activities comprehensively in our CRM ● Prepare accurate and timely forecast reports for Sales Manager ● Assist with trade shows and marketing campaigns including webinars & podcasts ● Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and improve lead generation by gathering case studies & customer reviews About You: ● 3-5 years SaaS sales experience ● Proven ability to find and win net new logos and expand each into long term accounts ● Experience of successfully managing variable sales cycles (3 months to 12 months) ● Track record of achieving or exceeding Quarterly and Annual Sales Target ● Have an entrepreneurial, resilient, and determined ‘can do’ attitude ● Energetic and self-motivated with excellent organisational skills ● Able to quickly build and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders ● Creative approach to problem solving ● Confident presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communication ● Passionate about the positive impact technology can bring to your target market ● Own a car with a valid driving licence ● Must be eligible to work in the UK and travel to North America without restriction About us: Market Dojo is a young, dynamic and rapidly growing entrepreneurial company.
