You will be responsible for ensuring incoming demand is planned, managed and delivered to agreed timescales. Responsibilities * Liaise with clients to understand project objectives and requirements * Visualise, create and issue detailed plans and status reports * Produce outlined and detailed programmes and KPI’s and continue to track progress to ensure jobs/projects are running to agreed timelines * Successfully manage changes to job/project schedules * Ensure subcontractors and supplier programmes are integrated to overall programmes * Managing and schedule the teams to ensure completion of jobs/projects within the required timescales * Create detailed project schedules, produce status reports and submissions of information for invoice authorisation to customer portals, producing correspondence and log jobs and orders * Meeting reporting requirements relating to payroll, attendance, H&S and training * Manage both internal/external computer applications ensuring project information is captured and communicated * Manage suppliers for pricing, raising purchase orders and ensuring deliveries are made to meet internal and project targets * Manage stock control of stock in stores, vans and project sites * Manage customer comments and complaints * Maintain confidentiality of customer information within Data Protection guidelines Person The ideal Planner Scheduler will have experience working within the facilities management or social housing sector and will have excellent organisational skills and a proactive and positive approach. * Understanding of Master Production Schedules (MPS) Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Bills of Materials (BOM) and Inventory management techniques (Kitting) * Current or previous experience as a Planner, Scheduler or Operations Controller in a similar environment * Strong organisational and communication skills (written and verbal) * Good numeracy skills and IT literate with data analytical skills * Experience of working in fast moving, pressurised environment * Experience of dealing with and managing customers/suppliers/employees * Proficient in the use of MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams) * Experience of managing business processes using mainframe systems, ability to adapt and understand various customer systems for information management * Experience in construction related industry useful but not essential Remuneration As the Planner Scheduler, you will have an opportunity to be involved with various division of the business, offering variety of work.
